Nicholas Tait
Classical Guitarist

Nicholas Campbell Tait is a classical guitarist based in London. Having played the guitar from the age of 7, he graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance with first class honours in 2022 under the tutelage of Graham Anthony Devine.  

 

Nick gives regular recitals, both as soloist and in various chamber groups. He is a member of the Meridian Guitar Quartet, winners of the Carne Trust Chamber Competition 2022. With repertoire ranging from Baroque to modern South American music, he has performed in venues such as St John’s Smith Square, the Wigmore Hall and St James’ Piccadilly. He has taken part in masterclasses with distinguished guitarists Tilman Hoppstock, Paul Galbraith and Roberto Aussel among others. While studying for a Master’s degree, Nick currently teaches a number of young classical guitarists.
